• "My most romantic time was when i woke up at 5:30am on the 10th of april, got dropped off at my beautiful girlfriends house, to suprise her for her birthday. I woke up her flatmate to let me in(i begged her for forgiveness afterwards), by this time it was 6am, and my partner was at the gym an i had 30mins to prepare. I had a box full of pink rose petals, i attached one to the front door, and then scattered them from the inside of the door, along the floor, up and around the stairs, having them go all the way into her bedroom (which i closed), where i had HEAPS of wrapped gifts for her all in a pile on her bed, with rose petals sprinkeld over them all. When she opened the front door, i could hear her smile and anticipated excitement as she slowly walked up the staircase. As my princess opened her bedroom door, i was wishing her a happy birthday with love in my heart and a freshly squeezed glass of juice in my hand. To me romance is awesome when you have things done for you, but 100x's better when you get to show the one you love, how much you care, and how significant they are in your life."

• "i have only been to the coromandel once, i am an australian, living in nz while i complete my studies, i am already in my 7th wk of 2008 and i arrived in Jan 2007 for my 1st year of study. The whole year i was so busy that i was unable to and visit anywhere other than Rotorua, it wsa such a busy year, when i came back from oz over the christmas holidays my friends decided to take me to the coromandel because they said it was so awesome, since i have only lived in auckland i found it hard to believe..... i was thrilled when i was mistaken, it was even more beautiful than some places in ozzie and to hav an australian say that should mean alot :-p since being a student doesnt provide all that comfort of being able to afford the finer things, it'd be great to experience the coromandel during a blues festival. thanks Mark"
