And hi StuSpence - I don't think people were having a go at the stall holders as such - but you're not helping by saying you'd gone out and paid $8 for a beer... Did you have to pay $30 to get into a barn that still smelt of horse - to queue for 1/2 an hour to get your dirty plastic cup slopped full of a beer you weren't sure you'd even like? I thought the idea of the festival was showcasing and sampling the best nz breweries have to offer... perhaps i missed the point?"
"I'm not sure why I'm suprised that this is the only way to contact the Beer Festival promoters?? through an open forum??? anyway - how do we go about getting the money back that you owe us? We stupidly had money left on our cards at 7pm... thinking we still had 2 hours left... But NO!! the festival was only licenced till 7pm - so it was all over. Even though - (as above) they advertised until 9pm! Not sure how legal that is? anyone?"
