"When not home attending WOMAD, I would like to one day go to a Tropical island called Bora Bora. ( I’m not sure why ) From what writings and picture I seen it appears to have an colourful past, present and future to it. Bora Bora is an island in the Leeward group of the Society Islands of French Polynesia, The Island, located about 230 kilometres (140 mi) northwest of Papeete, and is surrounded by a lagoon and a barrier reef. In the centre of the island are the remnants of an extinct volcano rising to two peaks. The Island was first inhabited by Polynesian settlers around the 4th century. WWII, The US chose Bora Bora as a South Pacific military supply. Public transport on the island is limit', Bicycles are the recommended method of transport. The island isn't over crowded or much commercialised I never been outside my home country yet - but if I do Bora Bora would be my first choice, follow by Disneyland ( USA )"
