"Jumping into my rusty 1985 Toyota Corolla with my ridiculously dressed mates who are going to give each other shit the whole way for entertainment. Driving through the gorge, following the river up towards the far North. The laughter overrides the music at times, though our voices do join it when we all know the words...or try to. Stopping at that little coffee shop we forget has such bad coffee and crappy sandwiches until we are spilling the coffee down the outside of the car again. Stopping for road works, giving the lollipop boy a cold brew and a high five. Arriving at the beach, feeling like a foreigner because you still get blown away by this beautiful country."
