  • "I'm fascinated by masks and the cultural, religious and artistic reasons people wear them. I'd love to go to Korea and attend their Mask Festival and learn about the folk culture and stories that gave rise to the masks I have seen only in books. I'd bring back this understanding to raise Asian Arts awareness in the school I teach at and balance the research I have done with African and Polynesian masks."
