"I'm thinking of running Lantern Making Workshops for Matariki using natural materials, just wondering if anyone is interested in being involved in that will me. I ran a few last year sucessfully. I will be running them as fundraising as I carry out volunteer work with Year out India, see www.yearoutindia for more details. I would provide all materials and tutoring. Looking for venues and interested groups to take part. If there is enough interest it would be good to put on a lantern parade to show off the lanterns and provide a different winter event. I'm based in the Bay of Islands but would be prepared to travel Northland and possibly Auckland at a stretch. Look forward to some feedback soon."
