Maketu is holding a duathalon on Saturday Jan 26th 8am at the Village green. We would like to invite them over.

This is purely a fun event aimed at families and individuals and cyclists and runners/walkers must be over the age of 8 years. cyclists must wear a road worth regulation Helmet and bikes must be in road worthy condition and covered footwear to be worn We also have a "Hikoi" which coveres the historic aspect of Maketu go to www.MaketuNZ.com, for more info or frillback@kinect.co.nz Two courses A Challenge . 6.5km walk/run 34km cycle ride on mostly flat terrain a few small hills then finishing off with a 1km run/walk. The Standard 3.5km walk/run 10km cycle ride finishing off with a 1km walk/run. Road rules apply at all times as the roads will not be closed. Dress up in your funkiest gear. Enjoy and have fun is our motto.

Someone help!! Sat the 24th March a group of us went to The Bedford CHCH to see SIX60, you would think at $43 per head and drinks on average $8 each ther would be bins for empties instead of the ground and more toilet facilities that was a health hazzard being blocked after 2 hours, i personally know of alot of people wanting to go to Shihad on April 13 at the same venue and would hope the Bedford has better facilities!!!!!!!!!!

Event at Mt Eden - movies at Tahaki Reserve on the 10 Feb should be a Friday and not Wednesday as listed.

We will be in Auckland only for Sat Jan 28th and Sunday Jan 29th the weekend of the Big Birthday bash event.

Can anyone advise best way to see the "city's best" and take in a wee bit of everything for an overview?
Should we plan to use a taxi or the Hop On and Hop off buses?
