The Boy With Tape on His Face, a.k.a. Sam Wills, stormed the Edinburgh Fringe in August 2010 garnering rave reviews and receiving an Edinburgh Comedy Award nomination for Best Newcomer.
He has just completed his first national tour of the UK and was recently nominated in the Chortle Comedy Awards in 2 categories – BEST BREAK THROUGH ACT and BEST MUSIC OR VARIETY ACT.
Sam is now preparing for a huge year in 2011 including launching his new show at the Adelaide Fringe in February.
But first he will be previewing the show at The Classic, NZ’s home of live comedy in Auckland.

The annual Comedy Festival is over and it's funny business as usual at the home of live comedy with our regular weekly shows - Raw Comedy on Monday, Big Wednesday, Thursday Pro Night , Weekend Comedy Showcases at the Late & Live shows on Friday and Saturday.

The 1st NZ International Comedy Festival shows go on sale this week including 'The 5 Star Comedy Preview' on Thu 22 April at Skycity Theatre (Sold Out over the last 6 years) and the 'First Night Showcase' on Sat 24 April launching the Comedy Rocks Season at the Powerstation. 8 world class comedy festival guests in each show. 2hr+ shows. We kick off a new season of Raw Comedy, our open mic for new faces, every Monday from Feb 8 counting down to the Grand Final of the Raw Comedy Quest on Sun 9 May at the Powerstation.
