    Hi Susanne,
My apologies - I've realised on reading your reply that I omitted to say that I'm in Australia - One of the reasons I was asking about the days is that I hope to visit the area (at some stage) re: my family history interest. When I registered with 'eventfinder' the only 'home locations' (mine that is) that they listed were all in New Zealand so I selected Auckland in order to be able to register. My great grandmother was actually a Hawke; Christian names were Annie Louisa and she was born in Onewhereo/Tuakau (1871-birth registered in Drury) to Thomas and Jane Hawke (arrived 1858 on the 'Kingston'.) Annie Louisa married my great grandfather (the Hammond line) at St. Mathew's, Auckland in 1897 and died in childbirth the same year - she's buried in Pukekohe. My great grandfather returned to Australia with the baby (my grandfather). Any help or guidance would be appreciated but I don't expect you to pick up a burden here. Kind regards and many thanks for the reply. Michael Hammond.

    Hi Susanne Stone,
I was wondering if it is possible to find out a little more about the local history day or is it days? Your website came up when I was searching for information about my great grandmother and great, great grandparents who were early settlers in Pukekohe (1858)
    Kind regards,
    Michael Hammond.
