"When you look up Hysteria in Wikipedia you are told that in its colloquial use, describes a state of mind, one of unmanageable fear or emotional excesses. This is what Def Leppard is about. Not the fear side but definately emotional excesses. Def Leppard have always been my favourite band and the arrival of certain songs at appropriate times in my life have meant that certain words, certain songs will always maintain that emotional impact on me.
My partner bought me a Def Leppard DVD for Christmas in 2006 which on opening I also found my engagement ring as he asked me to marry him.
Pyromaniacs start fires to induce euphoria and it's that fire in me when I listen to Def Leppard that brings about a feeling of euphoria.
Def Leppard are more than just a band. They are family and stand by each other. When Rick lost his arm in a car accident it would have been so easy to just get another drummer but they didn't. They stood by him and waited.....and supported him. And here they are YEARS"
