• "Love music festivals. A great way of experiencing different acts and the atmosphere is always incredible. Things I don't like are the long queues for drinks and especially the ladies room. Why do the men need the same amount of facilities as the ladies? Signing tents are a great plus and I generally fine that no matter how plastered some people are the behaviour is pretty good and believe that is supported by the low number of arrests at these events. Of course the major thing is having the right theme for the festival and sticking with the genre that is promoted."

• "The footage I saw of his rehearsals for his upcoming London shows was amazing. Didn't look like there was anything wrong. No doubt those will be packaged up into DVD's and sell like hot cakes. RIP."

• "Hi redzgt, Jimmy is support at the Mission Estate Winery concert. He has for the last few years done pub gigs around the country Jan-March. Best place to keep an eye out for announcements is here. Personally have seen him for the last three years he has been here and would be massively keen to go again."

• "Went along and had a fabulous time. The ham rolls were great at $7 and alcohol wasn't overpriced. But of course the highlight was winning the trifecta in the big race. My year is off to a great start! Looking forward to repeating my win at another twilight event."

• "This is a great event and it is a shame to see the organisers taking a successful formula and ruining it by charging entry and not allowing BYO. I have been going to this for years and the queues to buy anything are horrendous. I predict they will receive much negative feedback on the day and will have to revert to the old formula. If it ain't broke don't fix it!"

• "The first weekend away I ever had with my partner we were sitting in the bar at Snapper Rock at Tutukaka and they were playing Dylan's greatest hits. A memorable weekend - seeing Dylan at the Civic would be like having him play to us in our lounge room."
