"It was December 31 1984 we were on the way to a New Year's eve party in Sheffield ,UK. Rick was driving his Corvette when an Alfa Romeo passed us. Rick and the driver had a "Grease" style drag off. Rick lost control of his car, causing him to be thrown from the car.Ricks left arm came flying off!
This resulted in a uncontrollable episode of HYSTERIA,I was hanging upside down next to Rick listening to him proclaim he was going to keep playing the drums even if he had to use his feet! I was in shock and had gone a little crazy so in a frenzy i reached into my pocket grabbed my lighter and set fire to the petrol that was seeping from the car. I was later arrested on PYROMANIA charges and I am still currently undergoing professional help."
