  • "Wow i don't think i can compete with the two below comments. But why not give it a try - thats the kiwi spirit right. My best collaboration is with my mum ... she is my mother, my friend, my confidant and my spiritual adviser. There is nothing i wouldn't do for her and her for me. Though we go through our ups and downs I am truely blessed by the parent i was given. Thank you mum - you are and always be the wind beneath my wings."

  • "huh I was merciful to my recently acquired boyfirend - he stood me up while waiting at his home for an hour and a half because - get this - he was drinking at an open bar. I left in a highly agitated condition - not upending the home baked muffins and the contents of his fridge in his bed - tempting as it was. And definitely not calling to tell him what an expletive i thought he was - well actually i did tell him what an arse he was. sorted now - wont happen again :)"

  • "thinking ... at work ... I would never waste a brain cell that way :) Actually my mind did wander to the weekend. 5 blissful days (yes folk 5 DAYS!) of no work related activities. Paddling my kayak on a calm sea, chatting to my family that i see rarely and lying in the arms of my boyfriend for a lazy morning in - *sigh* - whay is not a 5 day weekend mandatory! perhaps i should run for parliment?"

  • "Nostalga - of summer days from childhood years gone by, the first kiss from a crush, what could have been, what should have been and what will - Nostalgic thoughts of times long spent - i don't dwell, i think of pleasant thoughts and think again of times to come. The past is where it should stay, to bring a smile but forward i travel until the time that all i can do is look back on my past and sigh with joy on a life well lived."

  • "Wine is music to the mouth - full bodied and smooth - it shimmies down your throat in a symphony of tastebud sounds. Music cascades into the ears and into your heart - leaving an indeliable footprint in your life. Together they are what moves the heart to influence the head and bring light into a dark world."

Though that comes with its own problems. give me one day without catching my breath as i drive to work would be a blessing but at least i make it every day ... so far."

  • "I'd love to see a big international group and a kiwi group preforming together. My favs are Muse and Opshop - i think they would compliment each other and rock the staduim to pieces. Throw in Brooke Fraser and Anika Moa for more kiwi flavour - why can't we all just get along - haha - would be awesome!"

  • "I reckon Opshop should have won the "Singing Soul of Aotearoa Award" partly because of all the songs they made of the cities they played in on their tour this year but mostly cause they resonate with kiwiness!"
