On a long summer weekend, i love to get out of Auckland - go camping or hire a bach with my best mates, it has to be near the beach (of course). We sleep late, then have a mean as b/fast cooked on the bbq, then lazy around in the sun, either at the beach or out fishing, reading magazines...all whilst a cold beer is at hand. When the sun starts to set we put on the mean NZ dub/regge tunes and crank up the bbq again, cooking the days catch...following this we hangout round a fire, someone has their guitar out and we usually play some random drinking game!! Then head off to bed, to do it all again the next day....also ideal if there is a gig on somewhere close by like Music Mountain or Leigh Sawmill :O)"
