  • "Exodus will go ahead rain or shine. There have been plenty of festivals in the past with rain and it looks like all New Years Eve festivals will have some rain throughout the day. We are keeping a close eye on the details rain forecasts on the Metservice which has light rain all day. However these forecasts can change and we will be keeping a close eye on things. The festival will continue though. Due to the forecast, we have put in 5 Marquee shelters in the GA Bar area and we have increased the area we had set aside for gazebos. We are also allowing gazebos that are 3m x 3m. Space for gazebos is limited though so first in first served. We are also going to create a bag drop off stall. Once again space is limited so first in gets the service. Despite the expected wet weather, we are still looking at a high of 23 on the day so it will be warm. We are doing our best to ensure everyone has an awesome time at Exodus. Many thanks."

  • "Basically your mate would need the same id as if he was getting asked for ID at a nightclub. Does he have a passport he could bring just in case? Otherwise get a temp drivers license? You'd think most 33 years olds wouldnt need ID as they look old enough - Im not much older and havent been asked for since I was 20! Taking ID for a 33 yr old is more a case of 'what if' he gets asked not 'when' he will get asked. Any ID is better than no ID if he does get asked though."

  • "@ata_babes, since you have purchased your tickets online through Eventfinder you dont actually get physical tickets in your hand. You get those types of tickets if you purchased your ticket from Ticketek or from a Ticket outlet. Its all good though, all you have to do is print EACH ticket you got in your email and bring it to the show. That is your ticket and they each have a unique barcode to make sure they can only be scanned once. Hope this helps. Cheers"

  • "Exodus is at Te Tumu Kaituna 14 Reserve. Its actually on a road off Bell Road but it has no name. Its by the beach end. Ive been organising shows since 2002 and not once have I cancelled a show or Festival. I understand your concern though. So many new promoters have been trying to do shows and they arent fully aware of what they are in for and it gets cancelled. Its frustrating for everybody. This year alone we organised a Festival in Tauranga in Jan, the Kolohe Kai tour in March, and the August tour with Kolohe Kai and Rebel Souljahz. No show on tours were cancelled and Exodus wont be cancelled either. All the paper work is signed off and everything is in place for a big night!"

I'll send an email to Eventfinder asking them to erase the line with the prices in it as these are subject to change. All VIP tickets online are $130.00+bf. Eventfinder wont hold tickets for anyone sorry. First in first served. The festival is expected to attract a maximum of 6000 people for this first year. Cheers."

Be at the venue before doors open though to buy any avail doorsales that will be available. The Hawaiian Management and 1814 Management will be setting the door price. It will probably be between $35-$40. each."
