Things are on the move at Acoustic Routes (Wellington Folk Club). We testing the waters in a bold move to hold our events at some new venues! The theme is ambience and I guess you could say red, music, nibbles and tipples! For our informal "Come All Ye" music-making gatherings, we are meeting once a month at Katipo Cafe on Willis St. the 2nd wednesday of each month. You get a chance to sing an item in a blackboard concert, then to join in a jamming session later. Things start at 7.30 pm although some of gather to socilaise and eat first. Join us-koha entry. We are also holding more formal concerts on the 4th sunday of each month at the Ruby Lounge, 14 Bond St. just around the corner from Katipo. Again starting at 7.30pm but food and beverages available at any time. Doorcharges will vary.
