"My family have been avid hunter/gatherers for many generations dating back to the arrival of the Great Waka to our beautiful shores. Kiwi, Kukupaa (Native Wood Pidgeon), and other (NOW) protected species had been part of our weekly menu for as long as I could remember up until 25 years ago. Daily bush-walks to hunt was a given. The most memorable day was our grandfather took us on a hunt with a camera instead of his trusty 410 shotgun. He explained that we needed to preserve what was left for future generations to enjoy and that we were not to shoot these birds again unless it was absolutely neccessary. We still haven't had a feed for 25 years but we have lots of beautiful pics."
"I would like to go to the NORTH POLE to personally ask Santa
"WHERE'S MY F****N' BIKE?" He still hasn't replied to my letter after 30 years the mongrel!"
