World Buskers Festival 2013
The buskers are back! For the 20th time! We can’t believe it either! But, yep, we’re turning 20 and to celebrate we’ve got a festival that ticks every box and every funny bone.
A spectacular line up of international acts featuring a selection of ‘old school’ and ‘new school’ street performers and a few indoor shows that will ensure our 20th is one festival no one should miss. Expect the usual (and the unusual) fun, laughs galore and a whole lot of nonsense - everything the SCIRT World Buskers Festival is known for. The SCIRT World Buskers Festival has grown up.
Not only are we the largest outdoor festival in New Zealand, we’re one of the biggest and most successful street performance festivals in the world. Perhaps it’s the juggling, the magic, or the non- stop funny. We’re not really sure, but what we are sure of is that we love creating this festival just as much as Christchurch loves having it. So join us January 17 to 27 as we celebrate 20 years of Busker fun with a million laughs and lots more!
