The Californian ska-punk act, Sublime with Rome, today announce their first-ever major Aotearoa tour, with an impressive string of headline and support slots at some of New Zealand’s biggest summer festivals and shows.

One of the most successful and well-known ska-punk bands of all time Sublime with Rome combines the forces of Sublime original founding member Eric Wilson and Rome Ramirez to deliver some of their biggest hits including ‘Wrong Way’, ‘Santeria‘Badfish’, ‘What I Got’, ‘Caress Me Down, ‘40oz to Freedom’ and many more.

Kicking off the tour in Taupo on Wednesday December 27, Sublime with Rome will headline Aotearoa’s premier indie festival - Le Currents - alongside Ocean Alley, before heading to Tauranga on Thursday December 28 to perform as special guests alongside one of NZ's most successful bands of all time, L.A.B.

Rock The Bowl in New Plymouth will be their last show for 2023, as they join the incredible line-up alongside Ocean Alley, Shapeshifter, Ladyhawke, Coterie and more for one of New Zealand’s hottest new festivals – on Friday December 29, where surf meets rock at the beautiful setting, Bowl of Brooklands.

Sublime with Rome then enter the new year with a bang, performing alongside Ocean Alley, Drax Project, Coterie, My Baby and more at Shake & Bake on Wednesday January 3, at Brewtown, Wellington.

From there, they head to Black Barn in Havelock for the next Sublime with Rome gig on Thursday January 4, with the Kiwi legends Elemeno P alongside as their special guests.

For an exclusive South Island play they will rejoin L.A.B for a Friday January 5 show at Trafalgar Centre in Nelson. Having sold out performances worldwide and with their sixth album nearing completion, L.A.B will emerge from the studio with a bang for these two shows with Sublime with Rome. Fans can look forward to fresh music coinciding with these performances, as a Kiwi summer wouldn't be complete without the addition of new L.A.B music!

The last Sublime with Rome date of the tour will see the band perform on Saturday January 6, 2024, as part of the second installment of Coro Classic, after a sold-out 2023 event. 30+ artists will be delivered across two stages featuring everything from live indie music to house DJs.

Sublime with Rome formed in 2010 with original Sublime member Eric Wilson and friend of the band, Rome Ramirez, releasing its debut album, YOURS TRULY, on July 12, 2011, which broke the top ten on the Billboard 200. The band previously toured in support of their hit 2019 album BLESSINGS with singles ‘Wicked Heart’ and ‘Light On’ making a splash at alternative radio. BLESSINGS is the band's third studio album, and it was helmed by Rob Cavallo, the producer behind Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Linkin Park and more. In 2020, Sublime With Rome dominated the rock and alternative music charts as well as headlining shows in sheds, amphitheatres, and major festivals worldwide. This year, Sublime with Rome had an incredible tour with Incubus.

Sublime's legacy account has over 3 billion streams and nearly 7 million monthly listeners, whilst Sublime with Rome has over 121 million all-time streams on top. ‘Santeria’ remains the top song with 540,730,265 streams. Sublime with Rome’s loyal audience can anticipate a new album coming in 2023 as they will return to Sonic Ranch to record their fourth studio album.
