Get ready for a surefire celebration because NZ's much-awaited Okahune Mardi Gras is back with an exciting array of acts from around the globe. This year's event will feature the biggest and the best line-up yet in its 20-year history.

Leading the bill will be one of the world's most iconic drum 'n' bass acts Pendulum, who officially returned to the forefront of the dance scene, announcing a string of new live shows and a remix album named 'The Reworks'.

Also sharing the main stage will be crowd-pleasers Home Brew as they throw their distinctive blend of hip-hop into the mix. Auckland up-and-comers Written By Wolves, who've been carving out a name for themselves with their unique style of rock, join the line-up; as do Stevie Stone, Rittz, Riff Raff, Times X Two and DJ Spell.

Headlining the Bass Stage is one of Australia's hottest electronic acts Spenda C, known as one of the hardest working DJs around. Other must-sees on the Bass Stage acts include Lee Mvtthews, Yancey, T1R and TwentyTwo.

This one-day extravaganza has been one of New Zealand's much-loved winter parties for the past 20 years. It may have been called off last year, but Audiology—the promoters behind Tauranga's Bay Dreams Festival and more than 200 other shows annually across New Zealand—and ZM did the best they can to make it happen this year. Mardi Gras will return to the 'carrot capital' on June 23rd with the biggest line-up in its long and illustrious history.

"Ever since we caught news of its cancellation in 2017, we've been excited to fight for the contract to return Mardi Gras to its former glory… We are passionate about great events, and we are even more passionate to push the boundaries and make Mardi Gras bigger, better and more memorable than ever before. Our line-up will feature international and local artists across electronic, hip-hop and pop. Whilst everything will be kicked up a notch, we have every intention of retaining its fun, dress up, street party vibe that it’s carried for so many years." - Mitch Lowe.

As a warm-up, Audiology is teaming up with Pato Entertainment and Fabrik to bring something special to Ohakune the night before to keep the hype and make the fans wanting for more. Other details are still under tight wraps.

Grab your tickets and be in for what's guaranteed to be the biggest music party in NZ's North Island this winter!
