PRESS RELEASE:

Shihad to rock Christchurch and pay-per-view TV.

Hot on the heels of their new album release on August 8, Kiwi rockers Shihad are set to make New Zealand music history with a broadcast event of epic proportions.

Presented by Sky Arena, the iconic Kiwi band will rock Christchurch in a good way when they perform an exclusive one-off show Shihad Live at Horncastle Arena on Friday 12 September.

Cantabrians won’t be the only ones in on the action however. In a first for New Zealand, fans around the country will also be able to tune in live via Sky Arena pay-per-view.

Performing their new album Fvey in its entirety, as well as hits from their back catalogue of monster albums including Churn, Killjoy, Shihad, The General Electric, Pacifier and Love is the New Hate, Shihad are looking forward to playing the entire album live straight off the bat, the way it’s meant to be heard - loud and heavy.

“I cannot wait to play the new stuff and in one of our favorite cities. It’s gonna be explosive!” says Shihad frontman Jon Toogood.
