The Golden Electric Tour co-headlined by Kimbra and Janelle Monáe has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled.
Due to illness, Monáe was unable to perform at the first show of the tour in Melbourne on Saturday night, with Kimbra performing her set and being seemingly unaware that Monáe could not make it. Monday's concert in Sydney was cancelled entirely.
The remaining dates for the tour have now been cancelled, including the concert that was due to take place at Vector Arena this Saturday night.
Kimbra tweeted that she was disappointed the tour had to be cancelled, but wished her friend "the speediest of recoveries", and saying that they will be back, despite promoters saying there will not be any rescheduled shows.
A full announcement regarding refunds will be made tomorrow.
