American rock-pop band OneRepublic embark on a southern summer adventure as they hit New Zealand this November delivering their renowned live performance and anthemic rock/pop hits.
Lead by Grammy Award winning songwriter and producer, vocalist Ryan Tedder, OneRepublic will touch down in in Auckland and Wellington rocking a swag of songs from their hugely successful three album repertoire such as: ‘Apologize’, ‘Stop and Stare’, ‘Good Life’, ‘Secrets’, ‘All the right Moves’, ‘Feel Again’, ‘If I lose Myself’ and ‘Counting Stars’.
Fellow Americans Boyce Avenue* will join OneRepublic on tour.
OneRepublic - bandmates Zach Filkins (guitar), Drew Brown (guitar), Brent Kutzle (bass, cello), and Eddie Fisher (drums) - is fronted by in-demand songwriter and producer, triple-threat Ryan Tedder, who has contributed to some of the biggest pop songs of recent memory including Beyoncé’s #1 smash ‘Halo’, Leona Lewis’ ‘Bleeding Love’ and Adele’s ‘Turning Tables’ and ‘Rumour Has It’ for which he won his first Grammy.
Formed in 2002, the band exploded into the spotlight five years later with the release of Timbaland Presents OneRepublic ‘Apologize’. The remix track sky-rocketed to #1 in 16 countries and still ranks in the top 50 of Billboard’s Hot 100’s of All-Time Top Songs list. ‘Apologize’ has also become one of the most downloaded tracks of the digital age, selling more than 10 million copies.
Boyce Avenue are three Florida-based brothers: Alejandro (lead vocals, guitar, piano), Fabian (guitar, vocals) and Daniel (bass, percussion, vocals) Manzano.
Along with their 2010 debut album ‘All We Have Left’, featuring single ‘Every Breath’, the band have created memorable superb covers of some of the best known pop songs of all time.
Starting out in 2007, the band gathered huge momentum and a massive support network with their strong acoustic roots and melodic rock sound, delivered through their independent Youtube channel. The videos began to resonate instantly with YouTube viewers and to date the band’s channel has almost three million subscribers and this month hit a staggering one billion views, making it one of the most watched of all time.
