With their new album Solid Ground having spent seven consecutive weeks in the ‘top 5’ of the NZ album charts, and on the back of a sell out New Zealand tour, The Black Seeds announce the release of new single ‘MAKE A MOVE’ - the second single from the new album.

The upbeat, funk-laden new single features Daniel Weetman on vocals and oozes with The Black Seeds distinctive summer styles. The new video clip was directed by Maia Horniak (First Cut Collective), and will be released to New Zealand Music TV the week commencing Monday 24 November.

The Black Seeds are currently at the end of a 22-show European tour to support the release of the new album in Europe through Sonar Kollektiv. Solid Ground is receiving strong airplay, particularly in Germany where it is on high rotate on Radio One.

The band then return to NZ in late November for a summer Festival tour. Full tour dates will be announced next week.

Released in NZ through Rhythmethod and DRM on 11 August, Solid Ground is the follow-up to The Black Seeds’ third album Into The Dojo, which spent five weeks at #1, reached well over double-platinum sales in New Zealand, and garnered critical acclaim and strong airplay both at home and in Europe.
