Two of Britain’s finest performers Bryan Ferry and Joan Armatrading have joined forces to tour New Zealand in a fabulous double-bill.

The brilliant Ferry and the sublime Armatrading are class acts through and through, with first-class bands and a catalogue of brilliant songs which have stood the test of time.

To see both artists on one night is set to be one unforgettable musical feast.

Bryan Ferry’s latest album continues his work as an interpreter and stylist of other composer’s songs. This time he has brought a unique new dimension to Bob Dylan tracks on the album ‘Dylanesque’. The original idea came when he recorded his brilliant version of Dylan’s ‘A Hard Rain’s A-Gonna Fall’ in 1973 but it took nearly 30 years to come to fruition.

In between Ferry has been busy: as well as being the front man of the wildly innovative modern art-rock band Roxy Music, he's also spent the last 30-plus years establishing himself as a great songwriter (‘Love Is The Drug’, ‘More Than This’, ‘Slave To Love’ etc) and distinctively modern singer.

Meanwhile, Joan Armatrading’s 19th album ‘Into The Blues’ is a blues-based inspired record, which demonstrates not only this beloved performer’s vocal prowess but also her incredible instrumental skills.

Her career has seen her nominated for Brit and Grammy Awards, been a recipient of the prestigious Ivor Novello Award, an MBE from the Queen, has played for Nelson Mandela and recently received a Doctorate In Music from the University of Birmingham. Known as a true craftsman, her consummate musicianship has encompassed soul right through to blues and sophisticated pop, and is always driven by her passionate guitar.

With tracks like ‘Drop The Pilot’, ‘Show Some Emotion’, and ‘Love And Affection’, ‘I Love It When You Call Me Names’, and ‘Me Myself I’, she always delivers a very special evening.

So you can be guaranteed that these shows will be truly unique and ectremely unforgettable.
