Red Hot Chili Peppers Coming To NZ

Red Hot Chili Peppers have confirmed a show in Auckland, performing at the Vector Arena on Saturday, April 21st. General public tickets are expected to go on sale March 5th - we'll keep you posted.

Inspirational, influential and innovative, the Red Hot Chili Peppers are the band that many others aspire to be. They have played with light, darkness, sound, silence, form, air and space to make music that plays with the listener, whilst simultaneously engaging and invigorating - promising more and always delivering.

We can't wait, and what a sensational band to perform at the long-awaited Vector Arena.

Visa cardholders can visit the Visa Entertainment website for another pre-sale which from 9am Wednesday 28th February - 5pm Friday 2nd March.

General public sales begin 5th March.

Hi Scamp,
It looks like Eventfinder is a bit remiss when in comes to events in Dunedin, especially live gigs.
The events listed on this site are dependent on our members listing them, so we'll do a bit of a drive and see if we can get some more.
Until then, you might want to check out Refuel, the Empire Hotel and the Univeristy Union Hall. Watch out for the scarfies though - they don't take prisoners.

There's plenty happening in Dunedin keep an eye on Eventfinder (go to find events and click Otago)... add that page to your rss reader or google reader if you use it and it'll tell you as new ones come up.

Hey i'm new in Nz gonna be living in Dunedin from march and really wanna see some live bands play can anyone give adice as to how to find out whats on and get tickets? Ruth

It seems unusual that a band as big as RHCP would only play one gig while in NZ, but we've heard there will be more.
Let us know if you hear anything.

Apparently Visa Card holders are getting first dibs on this show. Given the capacity of the Vector Arena is 12,000 then most if not all of those tickets will go before they are on sale to the general public.
I can only hope that they put on a second show.
