The Sue Pugmire Combo is a 5-piece band. A versatile group of highly talented, skilful & experienced musicians who are some of the Manawatu’s’s leading Jazz musicians and itinerant music teachers, playing the music they love. They play a mixture of songs and instrumentals. Styles include Jazz Standards, Swing, Latin, Ballads, Blues and Bebop, from the 1920's & 30's through to the present day. They can also improvise a, never -to-be-repeated tune on the spot..an exciting process which can lead…anywhere!
