Mercury Crowe broke out of their shell with 'Mercury Crowe EP' (2007) and 'Set Your Mind to Fly' (2009). The two self-produced releases provided the material for two years of relentless touring with the song 'Carolina' gaining nationwide radio play.

2010 saw Mercury Crowe hunker down to write the next batch of songs with the aim of recording two singles by the end of the year. The last of seven new songs to be written was 'Kiss Me or Kill Me', a three-minute stomping rock n roll tune about falling in lust on a one way street. The single was released with an accompanying video in November 2010.

In 2011 Mercury Crowe set out on nationwide tours to bring the music they love to as many people as possible.
