Madeleine Peyroux (born 1974, Athens, Georgia, USA) is an American jazz singer, songwriter, and guitarist. Peyroux (pronounced 'Peru' or 'Pay-roo') is noted for her vocal style, which has been compared to that of Billie Holiday.
