David Tua
David Tua (born 21 November 1972) is a former professional heavyweight boxer, who fought out of South Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand. Tua is a former world heavyweight title challenger and is credited for his punching power. His greatest asset was his trademark left hook.
Tua fought for 21 years and recorded 59 bouts in total. His most notable victories are against John Ruiz, Darroll Wilson, David Izon, Oleg Maskaev, Hasim Rahman, Fres Oquendo, Michael Moorer and Shane Cameron.
David Tua announced his retirement from boxing at the age of 40, following a defeat to Alexander Ustinov in November 2013.
