Anna Coddington

After a brief hiatus following her 2011 sophomore album ‘Cat & Bird’, Anna Coddington made a strong return to the spotlight with a string of bold new singles: Bird In Hand, Make You Mine and The Runner.

Showcasing a notable development from the guitar-based, live band sound of her two albums, Bird In Hand and Make You Mine were produced by 2013 Taite Prize winning artist SJD, and The Runner by mega-talent Jeremy Toy of She’s So Rad. Bird In Hand was a Top 5 finalist for the prestigious Silver Scroll Award for songwriting in 2013, and Make You was a Top 20 contender for the same award in 2014.

Anna is known for her enchanting live performances and a voice which “flows perfectly from soft to grunty”, and for her songwriting prowess which has seen her in the Silver Scroll Top 20 list four times since 2010. She is a regular in the Fly My Pretties collaboration, has performed Aotearoa’s top music and arts festivals, and has sung her way around the country on numerous tours over the years.

Anna is currently working on her third album, which will be a continuation of the sound she explored on her three recent singles. The album is on track for early 2016 release.
