1. Can't remember my password

   We don't know your password. It really is a secret.

   Go to the "forgot password" page and enter the email address you registered with. You will be sent a new password via email. Copy and paste that password into the login Password box (it's crazy letters and numbers, so don't try to re-type it) to login and then change your password to something more memorable.

2. Trouble purchasing tickets

   Your tickets are available for you to print immediately as your credit card is processed. No tickets are mailed or sent by courier.

   You can also print from the PDF file that contains your receipt and tickets from the follow-up email that will be sent to the email address you've provided.

   And, you can download them from Eventfinder if you have completed your registration. Just login, go to MyEventfinder and then click the Download Tickets button.

   We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. There are no cash or internet banking options.

   If your credit card is declined, you should contact your bank, as your card may be overdrawn or has expired or your bank may not allow it to be used for internet transactions.

3. My credit card was declined

   We would love nothing more than to sell you tickets, but we have no control over your bank and that's who has declined your card, not us.

   You should contact your bank - if could be that your card is overdrawn or has expired or your bank may not allow it to be used for internet transactions.

4. Trouble logging in

   Have you registered on Eventfinder? If not, fill in the registration form.

   You'll receive an activation email for confirmation. Because we (and you) don't want someone registering you without your knowledge, you must confirm your registration through the activation email. Check your spam or trash folders in case it was blocked.

   Usernames and passwords are case sensitive, so make sure your CAPS LOCK is off.

   If you have forgotten your password, go to the forgot password page. We don't know your password - it really is a secret.

5. Listing your event
   You can list your event for free on Eventfinder. Simply login (you'll have to be registered to do so), go to the List Event page and follow the easy instructions. Unfortunately, our staff cannot list events sent to us by email due to the volume of event submissions we receive.
6. I would like Eventfinder to ticket my event
   When you submit your event for publication, select us in the ticketing agent drop down and we'll contact you.
7. Changing your details
   You can change your email address, password, and other details on your profile page. Just login and go to MyEventfinder and go to Edit My Profile. We cannot change these details for you.
8. I want to contact the event organiser

   Eventfinder doesn't organise events, we just promote them online. If you want to try to contact the organiser, please write on the message wall of the person listing the event (they can be found toward the bottom of the event page). Click on their name and leave them a message.

   We're always happy to hear new ideas from our users, so let us know what you think.
10. My event has been cancelled, what do I do?
    Go to Manage My Listed Events in the member's section and click the "cancel" button next to the event. We cannot delete the listing, as then people won't know it has been cancelled.
11. A question about an event not listed on Eventfinder

    Everything we know about events is listed on Eventfinder, so if there is an event that isn't listed, it means we don't know about it yet.

    If you would kindly tell us what you were searching for or viewing and also what system/browser you're using, we'll try our best to address this problem.

14. Date ranges for multi-day events
    We're quite happy to publish your exhibition listings on Eventfinder. However, you should be aware that we no longer have a "date range" function on the site.
    
    The "date range" option was specifically removed from the entry form since it more often than not results in bad information, not better information, thereby misleading the readers.
    
    It is often used for exhibitions, festivals and theatrical events that aren't, in fact, open every day within that date range. Many are closed on Sundays or Mondays and it shows on our site as open when it really isn't. Others have different hours for different days, which can't be properly expressed with a date range option.
    
    To add another date takes a second. Literally, a second. The time should be transfered to the next day when you hit the "Next Day" button. If you need to add a month of days, it should take about 30 seconds.
    
    We understand for those few events that actually happen every day within a date range it's a little more work, but it's all in the interest of providing the audience with information they can trust.
    
    Feel free to go back into your listed events and add the days between the opening and the closing that are actually open for viewing and we'll republish.
