Celebrate the beginning of the 2024 grape harvest season by spending a day enjoying some of the best wine, food and entertainment Wairarapa has to offer.
Tickets for the ever-popular Wairarapa Wines Harvest Festival are usually snapped up super quick, so be sure to grab yours before they are all gone.

The festival will be held at the beautiful, sheltered riverside setting locally known as ‘The Cliffs' on the banks of the Ruamahunga River at the end of Dakins Road in rural Wairarapa (click here for map). Its remoteness and vineyard setting is part of its appeal while still being close to public transport.

Being only 10 minutes from both Masterton and Carterton makes the site easily accessible to local and visitors to the district alike. A regional shuttle service will run to and from the festival site at the beginning and end of the day. Reservations are essential, you can add this to your ticket when you purchase.

Wineries at this years’ event include: Alexia, Big Sky Wines, Cambridge Road Vineyard, Columbo Martinborough, Coney Wines, Fairmont Estate, Gladstone Vineyard, Grava, Huntress, Johner Estate, Le Gra Vineyard & Winery, Matahiwi Estate, Nga Pari, Stad_ko, Te Hera Estate and Urlar

Foodies at this years' event include: Balter Bar, Brac N Bow, Caveman BBQ, Clareville Bakery, Columbo Martinborough, Kiwi Kai Catering, Korky's Catering, Le Gra Vineyard & Winery

AND we are really excited to announce that we’re introducing for the first time, a curated wine tasting experience! Introducing WINE GEEK 101

Love geeking out over wine? Enjoy quizzing winemakers about the winemaking process? Excited to try new wine styles and varieties? Then this is the experience for you!
Before the Harvest Festival party begins, why not ease into the day (and avoid the queues) by joining us first for a relaxed and fascinating curated wine tasting hosted by the people who made it?
The lineup will feature 8 of our more experimental and off the beaten track wines that you may not have tried before. Each winemaker will give you a ‘look under the bonnet’ of their winemaking approach - showcasing how our local wineries are pushing the boundaries of traditional winemaking.
This tasting will suit every type of wine lover, from the person who takes a notebook to tastings through to the enthusiastic beginner just starting their journey into the wonderful world of wine.

A designated area for self contained motorhomes, adjacent to the Festival site, is available, please ensure you sign-up to secure your spot.
