The Performance Arcade 2024

Come join the magic of Performance Art, 21-25 February, all completely free entry! For five days, The Performance Arcade will set up on the Wellington Waterfront behind Te Papa in its temporary village of shipping containers.

A container filled with fog, a theatre with feet, live projections, dance interventions, a decolonial teahouse, live music by local talent, a Fortune Favours pop-up bar, food trucks and much more! The Performance Arcade is a beloved free, award-winning summer festival of live art, music and performance that delights art enthusiasts, passers-by and visitors to Te Whanganui-a-Tara every year.

The Performance Arcade 2024 full programme is out now with more than 15 Performance Art experiences and a rich evening Music Series presented by Fortune Favours, all completely free for the public to enjoy. Open 10am-11pm daily, come enjoy the spontaneous explosions of art over one jam-packed week on the Waterfront, 21-25 February.
