Back By Popular Demand!

Formed in 2009, hailing from Auckland, New Zealand, the Flaming Mudcats are fronted by Craig Bracken on vocals, harmonica and tenor saxophone, along with guitar slinger, Doug Bygrave while drummer Ian Thomson & bass man Pete Parnham from the seasoned, tight, rhythm section. Famed Hammond player, Liam Ryan often features when available.

Now in their second decade, the Flaming Mudcats have established themselves as one of this country’s premier, contemporary, Blues combos. They share a strong determination and driving passion to play the blues in their own way. They have toured throughout NZ and performed at festivals and clubs in Australia, Samoa, Fiji and the USA. Their memorable Chicago and Austin appearances were especially well-received and remain a band highlight.

The band has recorded four self-produced albums of predominantly original material drawn from their life experiences and eclectic influences. Their evolving songwriting talents look to provide ongoing fresh set and album material.
“Being a blues band is a real calling because it demands a big commitment. So, it’s hats off to the ‘Mudcats.’ Not for doing this but doing it so well.” - Graham Reid, Auckland 2018

Come along for stunning performances, speciality cocktails and an awesome blues club atmosphere. They always bring the house down & keep the dancefloor full, they return to play after an international stint in Hawaii & being a headline act at the NZ Blues Fest. Local support TBC also.

Door sales $30 on the night (if not sold out prior).
