Rock N Blues in Waipu is the last in our summer series of events at Tahamoana. Join us for a rockin good time with our blues band featuring, Stuart Lawrence, Bass player and Brian Glamuzina a phenomenal harmonica player, who also plays guitar. Both individually respected artists within the musical circles. They have joined forces to form “Beats Working 24” a blues band with foot tapping originals. “CAGED” is a 4 piece Whangarei based old school rock covers band, with 40 yrs + experience. Together they give you an un forgettable night of dancing and good times. With a set list of 50+ songs there is something for everyone; Fleetwood Mac, Blondie, REM, Dire straits, ZZ Top, AC/DC, Guns n Roses and many many more. “Caged” have played at bars around Whangarei for 11 years and played at the Whangarei Fritter Festival 2023. They do corporate events, private events and weddings.

Tahamoana Angora Goat Farm is a place were people have met and socialised for as long as the history of the farm. Only 6 km from the Pizza Barn and Waipu eateries, or 3.5 km from the Cove Café bar and restaurant. Come on up to Rock n Blues after a day at the beach or checking out the local boutique stores. The stage is set in the spacious expanse of lawn surrounded by spectacularly lit trees with plenty of room to dance, sit, or stand. There are some chairs available in the shade of the 10mtr Gazebo by the food truck. Gates open at 6.00pm $38 Tickets from eventfinda or at the gate. There is plenty of parking space, and the opportunity to camp on the grounds overnight by arrangement. Call Debi 021324707 or Dave 0274453127 to book a space.
