Drumming with our southern seasons for healing, transformation and connection - facilitated by Melody Rose Oldfield

Through the age old healing technology of drumming we will anchor into the subtle shift in the earth's energy as we slide from the heat of summer to the tranquility of harvest and towards autumn, feeling into the unique expressions the seasons in Aotearoa & moving away from the overlaying of the Celtic wheel from the northern hemisphere.

I will guide you through a meditative sound journey with my drum and voice, an opportunity for you to access the seasons within your own creative and spiritual self, taking stock of where you are at and provisioning for the year ahead. Connecting with the earth to receive guidance and love.
We will then co-create freeform music with our drums and percussion instruments, an exquisite & courageous experience. Engaging our deep listening we trust in the process of improvisation weaving our drums & rhythmic expression.

All levels of musical experience welcomed - Adults only
Afternoon tea & journaling materials provided
Bring your favorite frame or hand drum if you have one, but instruments will be available to use if you need
Payment by sliding scale donation $15-$35
Money flows differently for every one and we want to make it accessible to all while still covering the facilitation/travel cost
this is how our mutual circle of thriving and generosity works
