The programme will include musical works from a variety of different periods, including works composed here in Aotearoa. Solos, duos, trios and more.

Artist's Biography:
Rakuto Kurano has established himself as a versatile performer-composer in New Zealand.
As a multi-award-winning musical artist, he has completed over 200 performances around New Zealand in the last three years, therefore ranking himself as one of New Zealand's most active touring artists. An extremely versatile multi-instrumentalist; he is the only musician that has professionally toured around New Zealand performing on violin, viola, piano, baroque violin, and baroque viola.
This event is part of Off Centre, an arts festival that shows off the best of Te Matatiki Toi Ora The Arts Centre – eclectic, exuberant, accessible. With around 40 events, the place will be filled with music, comedy, theatre, and vibrant entertainment. One day, two nights, it's all happening on the 8-9 March 2024.
