Katakata Club is the latest comedy night to hit Christchurch. Host Shay Horay presents New Zealand's most exciting comedy acts playing within the beautiful Te Matatiki Toi Ora The Arts Centre. Come to the Katakata Club's second outing.
After a double sell out the first time, we are expecting the same again. headlined by the one and only queen of NZ comedy Justine Smith, exclusively for Te Matatiki Toi Ora. Grab your tickets quick as we only have a limited capacity. Shay Horay has been a comedian and artist in Ōtautahi since the late nineties, dreaming up innovative, quality entertainment. His alter egos include The Rubberband Boy, Keith Preene, and many more.
Justine Smith invented comedy pretty much. She is well known for her performances over the past 25 plus years. Also, you probably know her from 7 Days, The Project and Avonside Girls High School.
Our warm-up act we can't announce. Its top secret but does rhyme with Marvin Billions. It's his first dance as a stand-up comedian, you may know him as a musician.
