Should Aotearoa New Zealand use genetic technologies to reduce rat numbers? Or to control varroa mites? Or against the fungus that causes myrtle rust? If so, what should the rules be? Who should oversee it?
We want to know what you think.
This workshop will be for a deliberative dialogue session. We'll put you in small groups to talk about an environmental scenario in-depth, and decide what you'd like to see in the future. You don't need to know anything about genetic technologies.
Lunch will be provided.
We're also running a session on the previous day - the 9th of April, from 6 - 7.30 pm in the Dunningham Suite, 4th floor of the Dunedin Public Library.
