Francophone Film Festival 2024 - A Propos De Joan

Alliance Française Palmerston North is proud to introduce the 2024 Edition of the Francophone Film Festival in celebration of French Language and Francophonie Week in New Zealand.

The comedy A propos de Joan (About Joan) will be screened on Saturday 9 March and Sunday 10 March at 4 pm and Friday 15 March at 8 pm at The Globe Theatre, 312 Main St, Palmerston North.

The screening of this comedy is a Nz premiere.

Overwhelmed when a figure from her past reemerges, Joan Verra retreats to the countryside with her son Nathan. There she experiences fragmented recollections of her past romantic encounters.

Tickets for this screening can be purchased from The Globe Theatre. General admission $15, AF members $10.

This film is rated M due to sex scenes, offensive language and nudity.
