Tīkapa Moana Youth Explorer is a program that challenges students between 13-18 years of age to push themselves to succeed. They will work together to meet individual and shared goals, learn important life skills, make new friends, and experience a truly life-changing adventure.
The program encourages students to be active outdoors through water-based activities like sailing and kayaking. They will learn practical skills such as navigation, weather reading, setting courses, and cooking for groups. Through this program, they will develop resilience, improve decision-making abilities, and feel a great sense of personal accomplishment.
