We are a community of both emerging and more experienced writers. Our monthly meetings provide an opportunity to connect, share and/or learn.
New members are very welcome!
Meetings offer a mixture of guest speakers, workshops to enhance the craft of writing, and opportunities to share your work.
We run inhouse writing competitions each year for DWW members, as well as free writing retreats.
Whether you write fiction, non-fiction, essays, blogs, novels, or you just like to spin a good tale, we would love for you to join us!

Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month from 5.30pm (for 5.45 pm start) to 7.45pm in The Dunningham Suite (4th floor), Dunedin Public Library, 230 Moray Place, Dunedin.
You may attend one meetings before you have to join the DWW. If you do decide to join, the annual subs fees are on a sliding scale from $15 - $30.
