Contest Oma's Appeltaart, Grandma's Apple Cake.

Do you enjoy baking? Would you like a challenge of baking one of the most popular and comforting pies/cakes in the history of pies; oma’s appeltaart, apfelkuchen, nonna's torte di mele or just the good old kiwi grandma's apple cake? Then here's an opportunity for you to showcase not just your skill with baking, but also a good opportunity to share your grandma's recipe with the rest of us.

Are you the best baker of the dutch club, rotorua, the bay of plenty or even new zealand?
Then get your hands dirty, and your table messy and create the most beautiful, aromatic and delicious cake that makes everyone’s mouth water to participate in this first edition of oma’s appeltaart contest.

This is a free event, but to participate with your cake, you must register for it.

All bakers can compete for the title: “master baker of oma’s appeltaart”, and small prizes are to be won.

Registration form and rules
How to register:
You can register until 6 th of April via the printed registration form available at the Dutch Club (Neil Hunt Park, Tarawera Road, Rotorua), email dutchclub.rotorua@gmail.com for a registration form or the online registration form:  https://form.jotform.com/240728270933862.

You can hand the completed form in at the Dutch Club, and send it to PO Box 1706 Rotorua 3040 or return it by email. After registering, you will receive confirmation and a participant number. Registration will be closed once the maximum number of participants is reached. The minimum number for the event going ahead is 6.

You can participate yourself or compete with your child(ren), or grandchild(ren).
