Located in the heart of the Mackenzie, Tekapo is set to become synonymous with wellbeing with the inaugural Breathe Tekapo Wellness Festival taking place from 24 to 26 May 2024. The festival is the first of its kind in New Zealand and will showcase the benefits of spending time in nature and draws on inspiration from the stunning natural beauty of the region.
Breathe Tekapo will include three keynote speakers including physiotherapist and educator Nigel Beach, chef and entrepreneur Nadia Lim and Professor and clinical psychologist Julia Rucklidge. All are experts in their respective fields who will be sharing their own research and knowledge with the weekend's attendees.
Breathe Tekapo will include a full programme of smaller events and workshops to incorporate the four key themes of the event, Nature, Movement, Food, Inspiration. Attendees will need to register for the event which allows them to select the sessions and workshops they wish to attend while enjoying the local Tekapo hospitality.
The event has been established for those with an interest in their own health and wellbeing with an aim to educate and inspire attendees to make positive changes in their lifestyles through thought provoking and informative workshops.
