Auckland Anniversary Day Regatta 2024

The Auckland Anniversary Day Regatta commemorates the founding of Auckland in 1840 with one of the world's biggest and longest-running one-day regattas, pre-dating even the America's Cup.

The event attracts a huge variety of vessels including classic yachts, racing keelers, multihulls, sailing dinghies, foiling classes, radio controlled yachts, waka ama, dragon boats, classic launches and tugboats.

It’s a great day out for sailors and thousands of spectators who line the shores of Auckland to watch the maritime and trading history of our city in action under sail, steam and paddle power.
