Join us in celebrating 100 years of New Zealand military aviation at Wigram! Prepare for a thrilling day where history takes flight at the Air Force Museum.

Immerse yourself in over a century of aviation technology at the birthplace of it all on Saturday, 17th June. This event promises excitement and discovery for all ages, all while embracing a vibrant 1920s theme.

-Vintage Car Club showcasing 1920s and 30s vehicles
-Kids themed hunts ($6 each, EFTPOS available)
-Architecture Tours
-Live music
-Vickers Vildebeest aircraft restoration project
-Dress-up photo opportunities (gold coin donation)
-Chats with Air Force Museum staff and Royal New Zealand Air Force personnel

Flypasts:
Don't miss the spectacular flypasts of the Royal New Zealand Force aircraft fleets at around 2 pm. Witness helicopter formations (NH90 and A109), T-6C Texan II formation, King Air 350, C-130H(NZ) Hercules, Boeing 757-2K2, and a thrilling parachute jump by the RNZAF Parachute Display Team, Kiwi Blue. Dependent on weather, keep an eye on our Facebook page and event for updates - it's happening unless stated otherwise by the RNZAF Facebook profile, both on their page and in our event.

Architecture Tours:
Join one of our Architecture Tours (20 min, gold coin donation), a short tour of the historical Air Force base, viewing the exterior of the hangars and stores, while learning about the current uses of the area.
