As part of The Incubator Creative Hub 'Matariki In The Village' programme, join us in the Village Community Cinema for an evening with film Director, Producer and Writer Paula Whetu Jones (Te Aitanga a Mahaki, Whakatōhea, Ngāti Porou). Paula has directed and produced a range of works over the past 20 years, including a number of social issue documentaries and critically acclaimed feature films, including being one of the writers and directors of the anthology film WARU and co-director and co-writer of Whina.
Our audience will have the opportunity to be involved in our Q & A with Paula after watching the exceptional biopic film, Whina, led by our guest mediator Emma Power, with complimentary refreshments provided by Good Buzz Kombucha.
This event is presented by The Incubator Creative Hub, Film Bay of Plenty and Wiftnz, with support from the Tauranga Western Bay Community Fund and GoodBuzz Kombucha.
