Come and join the celebrations as we launch our 20232/2024 Waitara Night Market Season alongside Taranaki Tū Mai happening in and around Waitara over the weekend.

FREE BUS TRANSPORT IN WAITARA-TO AND FROM THE MARKET thanks to the Let's Go Team from NPDC and Taranaki Regional Council. Buses will be circulating around Waitara every 15 minutes from 5 to 9pm.  There will be greeter and youth volunteers at the main baus stops and on the bus to help guide and provide some friendly faces and information.


We would like to encourage people to safely attend the market by creative means whether it is by bus, car pool, ride share, on foot, bike, push chair, scooters or by boat/kayak. Prizes for the most creative.


Bus Route description: Queen St near McLean St corner, right into McLean St, right into Cracroft St, right into Short St, right into Battiscombe Tce, right into Centennial Ave which turns into Grey St, left into McLean St, Queen St near corner of McLean St, across bridge, left into Leslie St, right into Gold St, right into King St, left into Clifton Dr, right into Park Lane, left into Clifton Dr, left into Princess St, left into Richmond St, across bridge, Queen St near corner of McLean St, continues.
