Wairarapa Walking Festival 2023 - Gladstone Wine & Olive

Experience the best of Carterton wine and olives, with a walk down Dakins Road. Led by Go Carterton.

Catch a charter bus from the Events Centre at 2:15pm or at the Railway Station at 2:20 (meets the bus/train from Wellington).

Enjoy the first day of the season at Gladstone exploring the vines and the lovely Dakin Road. There will be Gladstone history talks on our walk so you get to know the area better. Ensure you have your phone or camera ready to capture the spring colours and shapes as you make your way through from the grounds of Urlar vineyard along Dakins Road to the stunning grounds at Ngā Pari vineyard.

Wear walking shoes that are suitable for off road farm terrain and bring a jacket if rain is forecast.

Your ticket price includes a $10 discount voucher for each venue, Urlar, Ngā Pari vineyards and Leafyridge olives.

This walk is via bus only, due to parking restrictions and road safety. The bus will leave the Carterton Events Center at 2.15pm with a stop at the Carterton Railway Station, and return at 4.45pm.
